This is a vintage plate from the "Old Country Roses" series, manufactured by the British ceramic manufacturer Booths. This series is a popular one, characterized by its charming and vibrant design featuring flowers in colors such as gray, pink, yellow, and blue.
The material, "Silicone China," is Booths' proprietary name for high-quality earthenware, developed to achieve the thinness of porcelain while maintaining high durability. Items marked "Made in England / Great Britain" on the backstamp appear to have been produced between the 1920s and 1940s. This particular series is believed to be from the 1930s to the early 1940s.
There is crazing throughout, but no chips.
Weight: 242 grams. Size: 19 x 19 cm.
