This is a vintage sauce boat from Digoin & Sarreguemines in France. Sarreguemines is one of France's leading potteries, founded in 1790, and merged with Digoin in 1879. Based on the backstamp, the period when this particular stamp was used is estimated to be from around the 1920s to the 1960s.
Products from this manufacturer are very popular today as antiques and vintage items due to their simple and warm designs.
This item has a lovely design with small pink and blue rose patterns scattered on porcelain, with pouring spouts on both sides, and it is integrated with or comes as a set with a saucer.
Originally, it was used to serve sauce at the dining table, but among antique enthusiasts, some people use it as a decorative item or an accessory tray.
There is no crazing, but there are some minor chips and scratches that appear to have been made during production.
