This is an antique lavabo from Clairefontaine. Clairefontaine was an old French ceramic manufacturer that operated from around 1802 to 1932. This lavabo features a beautiful diamond shape and a distinctive design with square geometric patterns. Many were made around the late 19th century and are now popular and rare as antiques even in their home country. The anchor mark on the backstamp is a characteristic feature.

There is some crazing, and there are small scratches that appear to have been made during production. Please refer to the photos.
